That is the question! This weekend I went to Atlantic City for work and decided to forgo my usual routine and pack the bare basics. I'm a creature of habit and usually like to have an extra outfit, just in case. Especially now that I've been using the packing cubes and they give me so much extra space. I figured it's just the weekend, I can save the weight and not add anything to my bag. That little voice in the back of my head was nagging me to toss in another pair of jeans, but I ignored it. One pair of jeans for a weekend is more than enough, right? WRONG. Murphy's Law hit me - everything that can go wrong will go wrong. I ended up needing that extra pair of jeans and really regretted not listening to that voice. I ended up popping over to the outlets and picking up a pair of jeans that I don't really need, spending money I wasn't planning to spend. And now I'm ready to go back to packing my entire house with me for future trips. I'm for sure going to continue to stick back up clothes in my suitcase from now on.
So I ask you fellow travelers - Do you pack an extra outfit, down to the socks, or do you say YOLO and go without? How do you work around wardrobe mishaps?
